'Tekken 7' Missing From Tokyo Game Show, PS4 XBox One and PC Versions Rumored To Be in Development

The fighting game "Tekken 7" developed by Bandai Namco has reportedly been released as an arcade game sometime in January or February 2015. According to Game N Guide, this game is viewed as one of the best 3D fighting games and has received enthusiastic and positive reaction from those who attended the World Tekken Tournament at EVO 15.

Currently, the developers of the game are said to be working on Sony Corporation's PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Corporation's Xbox One Versions of Tekken 7 and with this Bandai Director Katsuhiro Harada was reported to make an announcement of the game's formal launch for PS4 and Xbox One at the Tokyo Game Show.

Unfortunately, "Tekken 7" missing from the said event and therefore we are still clueless as to when this the game will be formally released and if there really is going to be a PS4 or Xbox One version. According to Christian Today, it is possible that Bandai Namco is pushing back the release date of "Tekken 7" for PS4 or Xbox One because the company is allegedly working on a PC version of the game as well. While this may sound logical, it has yet to be confirmed and the fans are reportedly concerned that there may be no release in 2015 at all.

Regardless of the release date and the platform, it is said that "Tekken 7" is going to be a big jump from the last Tekken title Bandai has released in 2007. "Tekken 7" reportedly is going to have extra 27 characters and returning characters from the past Tekken games with a story line said to be darker than and closer to "Tekken 4's" plot.

For now, if fans want to play "Tekken 7," they can head straight to the arcades since there is no official word yet when the game is coming to the home consoles.
