Richard Neutra/Paul Hoag Modern Triplex in Los Angles Asking for $1.2 Million

Another great designer home has hit the listing market. A modern triple story residence designed by famous architects, Richard Neutra and Paul Hoag, has been listed for just $1.2 million. The home is located in the heart of Beachwood Canyon, Los Angeles.

Lately, Neutra designed residences are selling at a fast pace. In January 2013, Francois Pinault and Salma Hayek dropped $16.5 million on the Neutra designed 'Singleton House,' which belonged to hair styling legend, Vidal Sassoon. His Troxell house also recently sold for around $3.5 million.

Now, the latest Neutra masterpiece to hit the market is dubbed 'a modern funky triplex' by Curbed. However, parts of the home are designed by another starchitect, Paul Hoag. The home was originally a Spanish-style two bedroom residence, built in 1924. Ten years later, the owners of the home recruited the starchitect duo to turn it into a swanky residence that stands in its present glory.

Currently, the home has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. While Neutra added the second floor bedroom and bathroom, Hoag conjured up the studio-style room on the third story, reports Zillow.

According to the listing photos, the shapely home is a white structure with a unique dome-type design. An abstract exteriors staircase provides access to all the three floors. The home has large glass sliding doors and windows along with hardwood and carpet flooring. A compact modern kitchen with built in cabinetry sits at a corner of the home.

The listing of the home lies with Sotheby's International Realty.

While some Neutra structures are popular, the legendary Cyclorama building at Gettysburg (also designed by Neutra), is being taken down. Demolition of the historic building is already underway and is expected to last until April 2013, reports Yahoo.
