Google's Nexus 6P Is Not Behind the iPhone 6S Plus and the Other Smartphones

Google has just unveiled its latest Nexus flagship from two tech manufacturers: the Nexus 5X from LG and the Nexus 6P from Huawei.

According to Venture Beat, both Google phones are impressive with support for 4K resolution and Type-C USB chargers. With their amazing features, the Nexus 5X will start at $379, while the 6P will start at $499.

Following the unveiling of these phones, consumers could not help but compare them with the other leading, top-of-the line models. For one, the Nexus 6P from Huawei is currently being compared to the iPhone 6S Plus and other high-end phone models. According to Endgadget, fans of larger phones will be impressed with the 5.7-inch Nexus 6P apart from its rear 12.3-megapixel camera with laser-assisted autofocus and surprisingly its front camera boasts of 8MP, f/2.4, 1.4µm pixel size.

According to Venture Beat the Nexus 6P is almost equivalent to the iPhone 6S Plus but with a slightly bigger screen the iPhone's 5.5-inch screen. Moreover, the Nexus 6P has an aluminum unibody and features a Gorilla Glass 4 display which is said to be as good as the iPhone's externals in terms of quality, design and durability.

The Nexus 6P uses a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 so the Nexus 6P's processor is said to be just as fast as the iPhone with its 64-bit A9 chip. As for display the Nexus 6P has 5.7-inch WQHD AMOLED display while the iPhone 6S Plus has 5.5-inch Retina HD display.

Overall the Nexus 6P seem to measure up to Apple's latest iPhone. But in terms of price the Nexus 6P is sold at a price considerable lower than the other. Nexus 6P sells at 32GB for $499.99, 64GB for $549, and the 128GB version is $649 and preordering starts on Sept. 29.

Would you agree that the Nexus 6P is almost like the iPhone 6S plus?
