"Orphan Black" lead star Tatiana Maslany just recently earned a nod from the Emmys for her role in the show. Now the actress, along with the show's other cast, is back on the set as filming for the fourth season of the BBC America show begins.

BBC America also just released the official synopsis of "Orphan Black's" season four. It hinted that the upcoming season will be returning to its roots, with Sarah Manning, the show's central character, tackling season one's clone Beth Childs once again.
The synopsis adds, "Sarah will follow Beth's footsteps into a dangerous relationship with a potent new enemy, heading in a horrifying new direction. Under constant pressure to protect the sisterhood and keep everyone safe, Sarah's old habits begin to resurface. As the close-knit sisters are pulled in disparate directions, Sarah finds herself estranged from the loving relationships that changed her for the better."
BBC America also announced an additional character, Dizzy, to be played by Joel Thomas Hynes. The show will add more characters as the filming progresses, BBC reports.
"Orphan Black" is a science fiction TV series that revolves around Sarah Manning, who discovers that she has a multiple number of clones. The end of season three showed Sarah and her sister clones investigating further into their origins. They discover that aside from them, the military is creating a "Project Castor," an operation that will create a new set of male clones.
The series has raised controversial issues on the moral and ethical implications of human cloning. Its fourth season will premiere on BBC America in spring 2016.
