Gina Rodriguez always sees to it that she keeps her family close, while watching the previous episodes of "Jane The Virgin." A fan saw in a photo that a man and a young girl is sitting next to Rodriguez, while viewing the first season of the CW series.
The fan screenshot the image and asked the actress who she was with, and the Golden Globe winning actress answered on Monday and disclosed that the image was a personal photo of her and her father, and that it wasn't a prop.
Rodriguez has been very expressive about her closeness with her dad. During her speech in the Golden Globes, she said, "I can and I will." She is writing a book about her mantra, which was given to her as an advice by her dad. The screenshot is a good time to get a glimpse of the image during the Season 1 of the series.
"The Passions of Santos" is also one of the favorite telenovelas of the "Jane The Virgin" actress, which happens to star Rogelio dela Vega, Rodriguez's father.
As for other news about "Jane The Virgin," "Magic Mike" star Adam Rodriguez is set to make an appearance in the show. He will jumpstart an arc on Empire.
The actor will reprise on the CW comedy series as Jonathan, Jane's very strict writing professor who does not agree to minding students' complications.
Jennie Snyder Urman is so excited about Adam and said, "In the writers room, we broke this arc with Adam in mind and we are all so thrilled to have him, wahooo!"
There is also a possibility that Adam will direct the 12th episode entitled, "Scorpion's Sophomore." There are speculations that his character, Jonathan, will have an important meaning to Jane, meaning, is a romance about to sprout?
"Jane The Virgin" Season 2 airs Oct. 12 at CW.
