The two-time Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover-girl Kate Upton is contemplating taking a high school kid on his offer to escort him to his prom on May 23.
And she didn’t stop there. "You can call me Katie if you want!" Upton replied to Davidson, who asked (while taking a shower) in the video whether to call her "Kate" or "Katie."
Now, this is not the first time a celebrity takes on a fan’s offer.
In 2011, the world swooned when Justin Timberlake said yes to U.S. Marine Cpl. Kelsey DeSantis’s YouTube invitation to attend the Marine Corps Birthday Ball with her in Richmond, Virginia. Then Mila Kunis followed; scoring just as many good reviews when she attended the Marine Corp Ball in Greenville, North Carolina with a fan.

"I'm Jewish, 5'9" on a really good day -- and I can't dance. At all," the L.A. resident said. "You're Christian, 5'10", and that Cat Daddy video should have won an Oscar for best short film. You could say this is destiny," he says, adding, "It would mean the world to me if you came and I would do anything to make sure you get here."
