HTC One A9 Release Date, Specs; Will come in Cast Iron, Rose Gold, Carbon Gray, and Acid Gold Colors

A leak on the internet about the release date of HTC One A9 has made HTC fans excited to get a first look of the handset ahead of the release. A live photo of One A9 has been leaked through the Chinese social networking site Weibo, according to the International Business Times. Based on the leaked photos, the HTC One A9 will come in hues of cast iron, carbon gray, rose gold, opal silver, deep garnet, and acid gold.

The leaked photos also confirm that the One A9 will be a 5-inch smartphone with a display resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, or 1080p. It will come with a fingerprint scanner located at the front of the device directly below the screen.

Vine Report said that it is going to come with 16GB of storage space, but no word yet from HTC if the Aero will have memory expansion capabilities. The device is also reported to come with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 4-megapixel front camera.

The HTC One A9 is set to be released by the Taiwanese phone maker in October, according to the IB Times.

The CEO of HTC, Cher Wang, has hinted that the Taiwanese tech giant is working on a high-end smartphone, after the disastrous response to the flagship One M9.

According to IB Times, HTC has apparently started sending invitations to a special event, where they are expected to unveil the two new high-end handsets. One of them is the HTC One A9.

The other device is expected to be released in two colors -- tyrant gold and dark gray. With similarity to other high-end devices, the A9 will also sport a full-metal build and is believed to feature a 2.5D curved glass display to get an impressive viewing experience.

As far as the price is concerned, the smartphone will likely cost within the range of $470 and $626.
