‘Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash’ Release Date: Game Will Be Exclusive For Wii U, To Feature Mega Battles and New Characters

On Thursday, game developer Nintendo announced that "Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash" is slated to be released on Nov. 20. The game will arrive first in North America and will be sold for $50. It can be recalled that the game was announced earlier during this year's E3 event, a report from IGN said.

Along with the fun and dynamic gameplay known to the franchise, surprise your opponents with a new move to the series, the Jumpshot, which sends the ball flying down the court. Change the sport up with new Mega Battles, using the Mega Mushroom to gain an advantage over the competition. Claim your spot in Mario Tennis lore in singles (1v1) or doubles (2v2) as you play with and against family, friends or the CPU using returning and new characters to the series," Nintendo said, announcing the game's official launch via its website.
