Ryan Phillippe Sells Hollywood Hills Home for $6 Million [PHOTOS]

Ryan Phillippe sold his 7,477-square-foot Hollywood Hills home for $6 million, according to real estate website Zillow, which was $1.175 million less than what he initially paid for the house.

The "Crash" actor bought the 5-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom pad for $7.175 million in 2008 and he listed it at the end of 2010 for $7.45 million. After striking out at the time, he took the place off the market before relisting it again last summer for $6.995 million. Fast forward nine months and his sale is complete, though for a million less than his most recent asking price.

The home, dubbed "Rising Zen" after it was built in 1998 thanks to its combo of Asian and modern architecture, features a media room, gourmet kitchen, pool, outdoor cabana with firepit, and city views. The 38-year-old already owns another home in Los Angeles and a property in his home state of Delaware.

The gated property is located on more than a half-acre with killer city views. Characterized by spacious, bright, open spaces, the home is impressively large, but apparently not large enough to warrant a full-price offer.

The home comes complete with a two-story entry hall, which Phillippe converted to a gym, as well as a home theater, cook's kitchen, a swimmer's pool with underwater speakers and spa, several outdoor entertaining spaces, outdoor kitchen, sauna and phenomenal indoor-outdoor flow.

The house overlooks the stunning Los Angeles skyline and was touted on Redfin as being "perfect for celebrities and others who value a property which can be 'stoperrazzi.'"

Meanwhile, Phillipe was recently spotted leaving Vignette Lounge in the same car with "Twilight" star Ashley Greene on Wednesday night, fueling rumors the duo are potentially dating. After his divorce from Reese Witherspoon, he's been linked to Abbie Cornish, Amanda Seyfried and had a child with Alexis Knapp.
