Massachusetts Real Estate: LinkedIn, the King of Real Estate Social Media, Defeating Facebook and Twitter

The social media platform for professionals around the world, LinkedIn, overtakes the giants Facebook and Twitter in the latest survey conducted by the commercial real estate organization NAIOP Massachusetts and Solomon McCown & Co.

The survey was done to determine which social media platform is the most preferred by real estate agents and brokers in the Greater Boston Area. LinkedIn tops the list with almost half of the respondents, while Facebook comes in second place with 20 percent of the votes from the respondents.

The survey also highlighted that 81 percent of real estate professionals connect to social media through their smartphones to find and close their deals, and less than seven percent of the respondents have totally ignored the use of social media for their real estate transactions.

Nine out of 10 of the respondents have said that social media has greatly helped them in their professional life.
