To the dismay of the gaming community, rumors that 'GTA 6' is going to be released by 2018 have begun to swirl. If that rumor is true then the fans of GTA have quite a long time to wait. On the lighter side, aside from speculations that the new game will have a map that will include the whole of United States, according to Crossmap, couple Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling may star in the popular automobile game.
GTA games are known to take long periods of developing time. But for the impatient fans the 2018 release year may not be that long after all however an official release date is yet to be confirmed by Rockstar.
As for the rumor that Eva Mendes will be in "GTA 6", Dan Houser (Co-Founder of RockStar) reported said in an interview with The Guardian, "In the future, could we do a game with a lead female character? Of course, we just haven't found the right game for it yet, but it's one of the things we always think about." He did not really say Eva Mendes per se but why are the rumors saying so?
It is also most likely that the large map allegedly included in "GTA 6" could be the cause of the game's delay, but the good thing is that it is rumored to be interactive. According to Movie Pilot, the idea of a map the size of the United States has been positively welcomed by the fans of the extremely violent game. Crossman quotes what was said in What Culture, "Imagine being able to go absolutely anywhere in Grand Theft Auto? That high-rise block of flats over there? What if users could scale it, entering the top apartment, rob it, then base jump out of the window, or perhaps even from the very top of the building?"
Game Developer Rockstar has not made any official announcements yet.
