"General Hospital" fans may have to bid Sonny Corinthos farewell, as spoilers from Celeb Dirty Laundry note on the possibility that Maurice Bernard's character may be leaving the ABC soap opera soon. As seen on the recent episodes of the show, Sonny was shot by one of Paul's men just when he was about to renew his vows with Carly. Sonny is still confined in bed and the outlet considered the possibility that Sonny will end up dead or will retire from the Corinthos syndicate.
This leaves us with two options: Either the Corinthos syndicate will come to an end or someone will take over as the head of the syndicate. The first option is highly unlikely to happen, as that will place the entire Corinthos family in danger. GH spoilers from the outlet noted that the second option is much more likely to happen, with Michael taking over as the new leader of the mob.
GH spoilers have been hinting on this possibility for quite some time now, as Maxie and Lulu have previously warned Sabrina about Michael's deep, dark side. Running the syndicate will ultimately unleash his bad side and this might even take place with Sabrina's pregnancy. Can Michael give up the syndicate for Sabrina and their baby?

Dante and Valerie have been finding comfort in each other's arms as well; will these couples switch partners? Jake, on the other hand, will become curious after overhearing Liz's phone call.
