Celebrity Real Estate: PGA Star Dustin Johnson Buys Florida Ultraluxe Home Located in Palm Beach Gardens

Pro golfer Dustin Johnson, along with his fiancée Paulina Gretzky, bought a mansion in Palm Beach Gardens, FL for a whopping $4.95 million.

The 8,200 square feet property on nearly two acres is on the Intracoastal Waterway and was built in 2009. The Mediterranean-style five-bedroom, six-and-a-half bathroom mansion is surrounded by three elite clubs which include the Admirals Cove, the Bear's Club, and the Trump International Golf Club.

According to Realtor, the mansion has great features of a four-car garage, elevator, insulated wine room, three balconies, and a shed for golf carts. Listing agent Danielle Munson says, "I believe they got an amazing deal on the property. It's rare to find a property of this caliber in Palm Beach County at the price it was purchased. If they plan on growing their family, this home will be perfect for them. It has plenty of room and everything to offer for a family to live and play.''

Munson adds that the home also features a rock-fall waterslide, a beach with a hammock and a fire pit, and a private island with its own Tiki hut.

The property can also be accessed through the waterway, thanks to a private ramp and custom docks for boats and yachts.

Pro golfer Johnson is one of the most star-crossed talents in the game at the moment, as well as the most puzzling, in a good way. He's got a combination of burning front-runner and casual dude, who actually said coming into the tournament, "I'm just chilling.''

Washington Post said that the 31-year-old golf pro missed last year's PGA Championship to deal with what he called "personal challenges,'' amid rumors of substance abuse. However, he's back this season to capture the first-round lead in both the U.S. and British opens with a pair of 65's. The U.S. Open trophy was in his grasp, but he three-putted the final hole to lose to Spieth by a shot.
