iOS 9 has been a good iOS update, giving a lot of changes to the Apple devices. However, as expected, bug fixing updates followed after that major update. The minor follow up updates were intended to fix small issues that the major update might have missed or created.
iOS 9.0.1
The iOS 9.0.1 update arrived one week after the iOS 9 was released. It fixed issues regarding users' inability to complete setup assistance. They also fix the alarm and timers that failed to play. The update also fixed the video playing issue in Safari and Photos where paused timeframe causes the image on the screen to be distorted. There has also been an issue where users lose cellular data.
iOS 9.0.2
The second minor update to the iOS 9 fixes another set of bugs that users still continue to experience, such as the issue regarding the turning on or off of the app cellular data usage. Some users also encounter problems activating iMessage, and this has been addressed in the recent bug fixing update. The update also resolved the iCloud backup issue where manual backup gets interrupted. It also fixed the issue of incorrect screen rotation when notifications are received. Podcast's stability was also improved.
Changes From The Update
Apart from those few bugs and issues from the recent major update, the new iOS version looks good. The update brought in multiple new features such as talking to Siri while your device charges, and the easy enabling of low power mode which by the way also turns you battery bar yellow. The search bar is also visible at the farthest left of the screen like it was years ago, only this time it includes your recent apps and contacts. The swipe-down search bar is still there if that's what you're used to using.
These are only a portion of the changes made to the iOS and so far, it seems to do well. It has been a while since a major update was released by Apple and so far this is still worth installing.
