Microsoft Xbox One 1 TB: Kinect and ‘Gears of War’ Bundle Due This Christmas Season

Software giant Microsoft has unveiled its latest Xbox One bundle, and the company has announced two new deals: the "Gears of War" bundle and the Kinect bundle. Both bundles are part of the company's Xbox One 1TB Holiday Bundle, which is said to be the second out of five bundles that Microsoft plans to release this year.

The company claims that the different options will help players choose the perfect console for themselves, a report from CNET said.

According to the report, Microsoft wants players to have a joyous holiday season by offering them the latest popular video games via the company's best consoles. It was said that Microsoft's consoles have a larger hard drive and redesigned wireless control integrated with a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The consoles also include the popular backwards compatibility feature.

"The Xbox One Special Edition Gears of War Bundle includes a 500GB Cirrus White console and controller, a full-game download of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, the Superstar Cole multiplayer skin and early access to the Gears of War 4 Beta. The Ultimate Edition is an updated version of the original Gears of War with a multiplayer option,19 maps, 6 game modes and 5 campaign chapters," CNET stated.

The Xbox One Kinect Bundle is expected to come out with an Xbox One 500 GB console. The bundle comes with different games such as "Dance Central Spotlight," "Kinect Sports Rivals" and "Zoo Tycoon." It was said that the bundle will arrive in Microsoft and other select stores in October. The Xbox One Kinect Bundle will be sold for $499 while the special edition of Xbox One "Gears of War" bundle will cost $349.

Comic Book has detailed the things that buyers can expect from the Xbox One 1TB Holiday Bundle, which are as follows:

  • "Experiencing the original Gears of War rebuilt from the ground up in 1080p, including 60FPS competitive multiplayer with 19 maps and six game modes and five campaign chapters never released on console.
  • Accessing the entire Xbox 360 Gears or War collection to play on Xbox One through Backward Compatibility at no additional cost when you play Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox Live by Dec. 31, 2015.
  • Playing a jaw-dropping collection of 30 iconic games with Rare Replay, from Battletoads and Banjo-Kazooie to Perfect Dark and more.
  • And immersing themselves in the critically acclaimed action-platformer, Ori and the Blind Forest."

"Microsoft has been busy unveiling new Xbox One bundles to cash in on the holiday season. Other offerings introduced this week include Xbox One Rise of the Tomb Raider bundle, Xbox One The LEGO Movie Videogame bundle, the Xbox One 1TB Holiday bundle and the Xbox One Limited Edition Halo 5: Guardians bundle," CNET said.
