Avid fans of "Minecraft: Story Mode" will be able to play the game's first episode later this month. It was said that the first episode will be available in various consoles, Android, iOS devices and PC on Oct. 13. In order to excite the players, a new trailer has been released by the developers this week, which shows a new narrative of the game, a report from Venture Beat said on Friday.
"Minecraft: Story Mode, the latest game from The Walking Dead developer Telltale Games, is starting soon. This adventure will tell the story of a number of new Minecraft characters voiced by some of the top talent in Hollywood. Story Mode will likely follow the formula of other Telltale games, which has previously brought franchises like Game of Thrones and Fables to life with an interactive, choice-based story," the report said.
Mojang said that the game is an "episodic game series" of Telltale Games. Gamers will be able to play the character of Jesse, which could assume the role of either a male or a female who will embark in a thrilling adventure. The players' mission is to save the world by getting to know a certain legendary group called The Order of the Stone.
"A new trailer released today expanded on Story Mode's mythology, revealing the four legendary heroes known as the Order of the Stone. The Order will be voiced by veteran voice actors Corey Feldman, Dave Fennoy, Grey Griffin, and John Hodgman, who join Patton Oswalt and Jennifer Taber in what is a truly stacked voice cast. Even more interesting news is that Telltale and Mojang will be holding the game's World Premiere launch event at the ArcLight Cinerama Dome in Hollywood the night before the game's release, on October 12t," Screen Rant stated.
