'Adidas' Delivered Truckload of Adidas Shoes to James Harden’s Doorstep

After leaving Nike in favor of a $200 million dollar contract with Adidas, James Harden's long wait for Adidas shoes is over. With the contract becoming official yesterday, October 1, Adidas wasted no time to supply Harden not just a rack of shoes, but literally a truckload full of Adidas sneakers delivered straight to his front door. James Harden was formally welcomed by Adidas despite some issues along the way. It can be remembered that Mark King, president of Adidas North America, commented on the photos surfacing the internet wherein Harden was seen still wearing Nike shoes despite the deal with Adidas. "That's part of the deal. The difference between football and basketball is that a guy like Aaron Rodgers doesn't have a walk-around shoe. Harden does, and he will be in our lifestyle stuff," said King via cbssports.

Despite the said issues, Adidas' new poster boy, James Harden, managed to continue the contract and was even given a warm welcome by the said shoe brand. Adidas flooded their social media accounts with posts welcoming the new addition to their NBA athletes. On twitter Adidas made a post expressing that;

"The start of something special. #teamadidas

The wait is over. Welcome to the family, @JHarden13. #teamadidas

Savor the moment, the future starts now. #teamadidas"

Now that it is official, Harden would have to stop wearing competitor shoes and other apparels. Especially that he is being paid $200 million for a 13 year contract, thus making him the Michael Jordan of Adidas. It is said so because Jordan earned more money endorsing shoes compared to his contract in playing basketball, which is why Harden should be careful next time for this is actually a big deal not just for him but for Adidas as well.

What do you think would Harden do with the Adidas shoes that he got, and what do you think Harden inspired Adidas shoe would look like? Feel free to share and comment below.
