'Five Nights at Freddy's' Spooky Video Game: Creator 'Scott Cawthon' Says FNaF isn't Over Just Yet

It was recently reported that there won't be a fifth release of the popular "Five Nights at Freddy's" because Creator Scott Cawthon is instead developing an RPG called FNAF World. As he has stated via Steam, "there will NOT be a Five Nights at Freddy's 5" because the "story is complete" and he won't "add to it". This FNaF RPG reportedly will be released in 2016.

It sounded like the fans of the popular scary game has reached a dead end but it turns out Cawthon has no plans of leaving the horror game genre anytime soon. According to Design and Trend, Cawthon had surprisingly addressed a question on the "Five Nights At Freddy's 4" Steam community forums. It was something he rarely does. A fan asked if he would return to horror and in response he replied, "Yes, and I already have an idea for one". He did not provide further details for the fans of Freddy Fazbear.

In the meantime fans are still in shock following the revelation that Cawthon is developing an RPG game instead of a "Five Nights at Freddy's 5". According to Design and Trend, "FNaF World" was rather lighthearted compared to the traditional "Five Nights at Freddy" games that are full of shock-giving elements during the gameplay. Moreover it reportedly would feature all the famous characters of the previous games and they will be playable party members. In addition, "FNaF World" reportedly would not be a horror experience but knowing that the developer isn't abandoning the horror genre, we can be hopeful that his RPG game would provide a platform for a whole new scary Five Nights at Freddy's sequel"

For now "Five Nights At Freddy's" series is still available on PC, iOS and Android. So fans could use some scary entertainment as they wait for any further announcement. And speaking of the upcoming RPG are excited to play as Freddy Fazbear instead of being scared to death by an animatronic?
