There is only less than a month before "Halo 5: Guardians" releases. Now the game developers at 343 Industries are giving away major spoilers about the game.
There is a word that Custom matches is confirmed to have a player limit while news about Forge Mode will be rolled out next week. According to Design and Trend, they have scooped this news from sources at the community's official forums in Beyond Entertainment. In the said forum, 343 studio head Josh Holmes was able to address those rumors. Homes confirmed that "Halo 5: Guardians'" custom matches will only accommodate a maximum of 16 players due to the fact the game's Warzone maps that can house 24 players will only be available in matchmaking, not under custom options.
On the other hand, the fans might be happy that the Forge mode was given a makeover. With this, Beyond Entertainment reports that Holmes himself has said that the community can expect an update on Forge likely next week. Then with "Halo 5: Guardians" map customization and editing would be available in some capacity.
For those who have not played previous versions of "Halo", Forge is a special tool set that players use to customize the game's maps in different ways such as placing items or pieces of scenery to alter the game play on a certain map. With Forge, teleporters can be added to improve movement and strategy. The Forge tool first appeared in "Halo 3" and since then it has become an essential tool for players and "Halo" fanatics.
According to Design and Trend, Holmes also hinted that pro-level gameplay footage of "Halo 5: Guardians" might be released next week as well.
"Halo 5: Guardians" is available exclusively for Xbox One on Oct. 27. What do you think about the 16-player cap on custom maps?
