"Adventure Time: Magic Man's Head Games" virtual reality game is now available exclusively on the Samsung Gear VR and ready to take you to the Land of Ooo.
The player's character will be Tiny, who will join Finn and Jake in tracking down Magic Man in the Land of Ooo. "Adventure Time: Magic Man's Head Games" based on Cartoon Network's animated series is the first VR game based on a TV show.
As per Fortune, Christopher Waldron, vice president of Cartoon Network Digital, said that the "Adventure Time" development team worked on the combinations of spatial sound, camera perspective, choice of game mechanics, and level design and things like that to drive player exploration in the VR world.
Christina Miller, president and general manager of Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, and Boomerang said that "As of now, the release is only for the Samsung Gear VR, however, we're currently looking at other platforms and are always seeking new ways to expand our storytelling universe."
Another "Adventure Time" game (non-VR) from Little Orbit called "Adventure Time: Finn & Jake Investigations" will be released on Oct. 20.
Meanwhile, Cartoon Network is also releasing "Adventure Time: The Enchiridion & Marcy's Super Secret Scrapbook!!!" "The Enchiridion" is the ancient book on how to become a hero, said io9.com. Finn got the book early in the series, which he kept losing later on. The other side is Marcy's old scrapbook before she became Marceline the Vampire Queen which contains stuff about her evil family and her best friend Simon or the Ice King.
According to IGN, the fun flip-book was put together by Martin and Olivia Olson, the voices behind The Lord of Evil and Marceline the Vampire Queen. The book contains a collection of arts from various artists such as Tony Millionaire, Aisleen Romano, Mahendra Singh and Sean Tejaratchi.
"Adventure Time: The Enchiridion & Marcy's Super Secret Scrapbook!!!" will hit shelves on Oct. 6.
