The countdown begins as fans of "The Hunger Games" series get ready for the series' final installment, "Mockingjay Part 2." The movie released a second official trailer, weeks before its official release.
In the clip, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) gets her first orders as they prepare their fight against the Capitol. It ends with Finnick (Sam Claflin) eerily muttering, "Welcome to the 76th Hunger Games!" Watch the trailer below.
Meanwhile, the movie's lead stars Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, and Josh Hutcherson recently sat down with Entertainment Weekly and revealed interesting production secrets.
They shared that "Mockingjay Parts 1 & 2" were simultaneously shot over a span of 155 days. The production had to jump across cities of different countries, from Atlanta to Paris and even Berlin. By the end of the shoot, Jennifer Lawrence said she was drained and overwhelmed.
"It was so emotional that I was completely numb and dead inside," she said.
Liam Hemsworth, who plays the rebel Gale in the films, revealed that he was drunk on the last day of filming. He and Josh Hutcherson, who plays Peeta, wrapped up their scenes the night before and celebrated by downing a bottle of scotch together.
"Then [the next day] we came to the set because Jen and Woody [Harrelson] had a last scene together and we wanted to watch the last couple takes," Hutcherson recounted. "Then they called wrap! And we kind of sat there on the steps in this room and we just held each other..."
A producer caught all four of them hugging and weeping together. Jennifer Lawrence recalled looking back a week later, saying, "Was it weird that we got so dramatic?"
After 155 days of grueling scenes and rollercoaster emotions, it is no wonder that the cast has formed such a strong bond.
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" opens in theaters on Nov. 20. Tickets are now on sale through Fandango.
