"Batman: Arkham Knight" will be back to PC and will go on sale at the end of October, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment reported.
Said game was released with multiple bugs and was pulled in June since many players reported major performance issues. Warner Bros. ensured the users that they will be fixing the problems before they put the game back on sale again.
"As many of you know, we released a major patch for Batman: Arkham Knight PC a few weeks ago. While there were significant performance improvements made to the game, the teams are continuing to work on the additional updates that were outlined in our previous post," Warner Bros. said in the Steam community update. "We expect these updates to be ready at the end of October, at which time the PC version will be made available for purchase. In addition, support for all DLC that has been released for the console versions will be in place. Thanks again for your continued patience and support. We’ll be sure to update everyone as soon as the update is live."
The company also mentioned that support for all DLC released for consoles will also be available for the PC version. It is their goal to get Rocksteady Studios' final Arkham game ready for Steam users this month, International Business Times reported.
Although "Batman: Arkham Knight" is a great game, its PC launch as well as its subsequent removal from Steam made people unhappy, Mashable reported. The recent patch was released within its promised timeframe until September but only for those who already owned the game.
After its release on June 23 for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Mac, its actual new release date would be this October but the exact date wasn't specified yet but Warner Bros. promised to make an announcement “as soon as the update is live.”
