Rob Kardashian is being accused of striking a female photographer in the face and then he "grabbed her camera and removed the memory card," the photographer told police on Wednesday according to reports.
"The paparazzi alleged that while she was photographing Rob Kardashian, he grabbed her camera and removed the memory card. During the struggle, the paparazzi stated that she was struck in the face by Rob Kardashian," the Beverly Hills Police Department said in a statement, according to ABCNews.com.
TMZ.com stated that the woman immediately filed a report against the 26-year-old alleging him of stealing her camera and taking away the memory card of the device. She added that he did this to stop her from releasing his shirtless images to the media.
Rob Kardashian also told her that he would pay for the damages to the equipment later. The younger brother of the Kardashian sisters, who admitted to gaining 40 pounds after splitting from girlfriend Rita Ora in December, has been criticized by the media for his looks, suggesting he was insecure at the thought of having his shirtless photos out there for all to see.
US Weekly quoted Rob Kardashian as saying "I lost 5 to 7 pounds last week. I'm trying to lose 40," he said during his birthday party at 1OAK in Las Vegas last Friday.
"It's a little journey, but it's good... I'm like 240lbs right now, probably 235lbs.' It seems like that he is not prepared to show off his frame right now.
On Wednesday, the same day of the alleged robbery, he posted photos on Instagram of him at a cycling class with friends and then later for round two at a gym. He has said his goal is to lose all 40 pounds.
