Two more days and "The Flash" will be zooming in to the small screen again with its second season. With things heating up for the season premiere, fans are wild-guessing which characters from the DC comics will be added to go up against Flash.
According to Inverse, leading the pack of villains will be the mysterious Professor Zoom, who will be voiced by Tony Todd. WWE Champion Adam "Edge Copeland will also be joining the villain party as Atom Smasher. He's a hero in the comic books, but it will be interesting how this big guy will attempt to crush The Flash in the show. Another villain will rise in the character of a season one fan favorite, Caitlin Snow. She is expected to turn to the dark side and become the evil Killer Frost.
Aside from new villains, there are talks that this season could reveal new Flash(es).
In the DC comics, Barry Allen wasn't actually the first and only Flash. There's Jay Garrick, the original Flash. He's a college student who gained his super speed abilities by inhaling hard water vapors from his science project. According to Inverse, Garrick will be joining the show as another Flash.
And he's not the only other Flash. There's Wally West, who will be played by Australian actor Keiynan Lonsdale. According to Comic Book, in the DC comics, Barry Allen actually died and got merged into the speed force. When this happened, Wally West replaced him as The Flash. Could this be a storyline for season two?
Clearly, there is no slowing down "The Flash." It premieres on Tuesday, Oct. 6 on CW.
