Tom Cruise's eldest daughter Isabella has tied the knot. The 22-year-old married her boyfriend, IT consultant Max Parker, in an intimate ceremony in London. According to Woman's Day, the wedding took place last month, but was kept under the radar and reports did not surface until now.
The private affair took place at the five-star Dorchester Hotel in Central London. Isabella, who now works as a hairdresser in the U.K., wore a little white dress with lace details. She was said to be "beaming in confidence" in the wedding photos.
According to Radar Online, the bride and groom were surrounded by their closest group of friends. The famous father of the bride was notably missing in the guest list. Reports go on to say that Tom Cruise has not even met his daughter's groom. The actor is known to be an avid supporter of the Church of Scientology, the same religion his two older children have embraced. And while Isabella still goes to the same church in London, her husband does not share the same faith.
Also missing in action are Isabella's brother Connor and mother Nicole Kidman. However, Woman's Day reported that Kidman is "overjoyed" with this latest development in her daughter's life. It was previously reported that the actress' Catholic faith has driven a wedge between her and her two older children. Kidman has refuted these claims, and in her recent interview for Dujour Magazine, she insisted that Isabella and Connor are still very much a part of her life.
"I have four children, so to stay in touch with them is very important," she said
Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman adopted both Isabella and Connor Cruise in 1992 and 1995 respectively, during their 10-year marriage.
Tom also reportedly missed another family event last August -- his stepfather's funeral.
