'The Originals' Season 3 Air Date & Spoilers: Marcel & Divina Will Be On Opposite Sides; Witches & Vampires Will Go Head To Head

In the new teaser video released for "The Originals" season 3, Davina (Danielle Campbell) refuses to help Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) in his request.

It seems like the two will be on the opposite sides of the upcoming war. According to the official synopsis for Season 3, there will be a battle between the vampires and the witches.

In the last season, Marcel already has control over the French Quarter, and he will try to recruit new vampires again. Meanwhile, Davina was named as the Regent to the New Orleans witches, and with her new role, she will be head to head with her friend Marcel.

In the teaser video featured in Latin Post, Davina can be heard telling Marcel, "Witches don't do favors for vampires -- including daylight rings. Those are the rules." Marcel then tries to argue and convinces Davina that what she will be doing an "act of good faith" to the vampires.

Davina still declined Marcel's request and told him that the ninth ward coven thinks of her as a vampire sympathizer, and as the new Regent, she wants to prove them otherwise. She then tells Marcel that he is on his own.

It seems like Davina's anger towards the vampires escalated when the vampires sabotaged her plan to resurrect her dead lover in another man's body. Davina was given by the ancestors a powerful gift to revive her dead lover.

However, according to Master Herald, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) swapped Davina's lover with their mother's ashes, wiping out Davina's chance of reuniting with him. Now that there is a new threat coming the vampires' way, it seems like they won't expect any help from the witches after all.

It was also earlier reported that there will be a group of vampires who will be looking to settle the score with the Original family, and it was also reported that these vampires were the first vampires the family has created.

"The Originals" Season 3 will premiere on The CW on October 8.
