Now that the NBA preseason has started and the official 2015-2016 NBA season is fast approaching, fans and experts alike are having their own take of NBA predictions. And here are some projections for some of the NBA teams as highlighted on bleacherreport.
Last year's promising big three of Cleveland Cavaliers, namely Kevin Love, Kyrie Irving, and LeBron James went shorthanded, especially that Love and Irving were plagued with injuries. And for this season, according to bleacherreport, LeBron James' Cleveland would be having a tough time sniffing 60 wins. For a win-loss prediction, the team is under 57-25 stat.
The Dallas Mavericks, upon prediction, would have 35-47 win-loss standing. It is believed so for the team lacks "a new ball-handling coach to dribble their way through the West and into the playoffs," said bleacherreport. And not to mention their star player Dirk Nowitzki is not getting younger anymore; they would have to assemble a line-up that would take over the team during post-Dirk era.
Another team to watch for is the LA Lakers especially that Kobe has returned after being medically cleared. But fans should not that be too excited, for their team is under a transition. With Kobe always getting injured and especially not getting younger, young bloods like Jordan Clarkson should step up to somehow dispel the 31-51 win loss prediction.
For our defending champ, the Golden State Warriors and the home of the current of the 2014-2015 MVP, Stephen Curry, are foreseen to get a larger share of the pie. According to bleacherreport win-loss prediction, Golden State would have a 64-18, win-loss for the season. The future is bright for this team, especially that most of its players are still entering their prime in the NBA, Curry at 27, Thompson and Barnes at 25 and Barnes at 23.
This year, former champs Miami Heat and Spurs would be capitalizing on the additions of their team. To improve the 48-34 win-loss prediction of Heat, additions Goran Dragic, Amar'e Stoudemire, Josh McRoberts and rookie Justise Winslow should also step up to show some improvement on their stats.
Now the ones given above are mere predictions and projections. They can always be changed depending on the team's performance in the coming NBA season. All we have to do is to wait and see how each team would perform and overcome obstacles in the game.
