A few months after Gigi Hadid was spotted descending from his Los Angeles residence, actor, singer and member of a pop-rock band, Joe Jonas, has just listed his newly renovated home in the heavily congested West Hollywood street. The house is listed for $2.895 million, writes Mark David in his regular column in Variety.
The property listing, which appears in Westside Estate Agency, describes that the gated and highly secured 1930s traditional, measures 2,888 square feet and has three to four bedrooms, as well as three full and two and a half bathrooms. It was purchased in an off-market deal by the member of the boy band Jonas Brothers, more than a year ago for $2.595 million.
The original architectural design in the formal living room has been retained and includes French doors, the barrel vaulted ceiling and a carved stone fireplace. Beside it is a small room made by Jonas as a media lounge with a built-in window seat and considered as a fourth bedroom in the listing. The dining room overlooks the walled front garden and has coffered ceiling treatment. It connects to a sunny, center island kitchen that has marble counter tops, high-end stainless steel appliances, Shaker-style cabinetry that are of two-tone, and gleaming white subway tile back splashes. An adjoining breakfast area/lounge, quite similar to the living room, leads through its French doors to a shaded terrace where the small backyard can be viewed.
On the second floor are two expansive guest/family bedrooms, both with a private bathroom. One of these two rooms has been set up as an office. The master suite features a walk-in closet, multi-windowed haberdashery-inspired bathroom with a marble-topped double vanity, a separate stall shower and a bathtub that is marble-topped and wood-sided.
Outside, the backyard is lavishly landscaped and obviously well-watered. Its grounds are well-enclosed and offers a lot of privacy. It boasts its emerald green lawn and long, gated driveway that leads to the side of the house going to a two-car garage which is detached and can be easily converted to a guesthouse. It also has a barbeque and outdoor dining area and a plunge-size pool, described by Rob Schneider in hipages as "a pool that is larger than a spa but smaller than a swimming pool."
