‘Star Wars: Battlefront’ Gameplay: Which 5 Characters Should Be Included?

Game developer and publisher Electronic Arts and DICE have teased avid fans of the popular video game "Star Wars: Battlefront" that there will be new set of playable characters that will be unveiled in the future. Various publications have come up with a list of potential characters that should be featured in the game, which include Darth Vader and Boba Fett, a report from Design & Trend said on Monday.

According to Gamerant, although it is a welcome development that there will be new playable characters for the game, avid fans and players won't be able to access the characters, but they will be able to assume the role of both Rebel Alliance and Empire soldiers. Players will reportedly be fighting in 40-player arenas and they will be able to take control of the different special characters after they accomplish a particular task or reach certain score goals.

Black Box has listed five new potential characters that should reportedly be added in the "Star Wars: Battlefront" final version. They are as follows:

  • "Han Solo- A young and handsome man who was described as a brave bounty hunter. He doesn't use a lightsaber.
  • Darth Maul- He was a male Dathomirian Zabrak Dark Lord of the Sith. He is known to be a formidable warrior.
  • Yoda- In the game, he was known as the green Jedi Master. He is mall but it was said that he can be deadly and at the same time, his unique visions will be beneficial to the Force.
  • Chewbacca- Described as a 'raggedy beast' and is a very popular in the 'Star Wars' Universe video game"

"These special characters will come with their own strengths that players can use to support their team, and if needed, turn the tides of battle in their team's favor. Considering the size of the Star Wars universe, we doubt Darth Vader and Boba Fett are the only special characters available. So we have put together a list of the other heroes and villains we would like to see as playable characters in the game," according to Gamerant.
