"Backstreet Boys" heartthrob Nick Carter could be the next "Dancing With The Stars" Season 21 Mirror Ball Trophy winner. According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, DWTS spoilers tease that the former "Backstreet Boys" member was dubbed as a frontrunner for this season and so far he has not disappointed his fans and the show's followers.
In the Sept. 28 episode of "Dancing With The Stars," Nick and Alexa Pena Vega tied and almost got a perfect score, as reported by US Weekly. Nick and dance partner Sharna Burgees performed a Viennese Waltz.
It has been reported that during the rehearsal Nick got frustrated because he can't seem to get the steps right however, Sharna warned him that "When you get frustrated, you don't progress." And on the show night Nick almost performed a flawless waltz which led them a nearly perfect score of 36 out of 40.
Nick definitely blew the judges away with his performance according to Celebrity Dirty Laundry. Julianne said, "Nick, you were a leading man tonight. That was beautiful, best dance of the night" while Bruno was impressed with their attention to detail and said "Refined and lots of attention to detail. There wasn't an intention out of synch with what you wanted to do."
Carrie Ann said, "Tonight you went from pop star to classical." Alfonso loved Nick's performance but reminded him that, "Rehearsal is a marathon not a sprint, you will get there each week."
According to CDL, in this week's edition of OK! Magazine they featured Nick's achievements since his "Backstreet Boys" days and all the obstacles he has been through and overcome before becoming part of the cast of "Dancing With The Stars" Season 21.
One of the sources close to Nick's family revealed that, "Nick has led a very troubled life. His parents didn't set a good example. He witnessed them getting drunk and fighting throughout most of his childhood. The family was extremely dysfunctional."
As per CDL's report, Nick was involved in a lot of troubles over the past years. He had his fame during the early 2000 but things have taken its toll on him and everything went down. He was accused with assault by ex-girlfriend Paris Hilton and aside from that he also had another problem with the law which prompted him to go to rehab for three months. And in 2008 he was diagnosed with a serious heart condition and that made him change his life's course.
The source also revealed to the magazine that, "The odds were stacked against him, but he is very proud of the place that he is in now. While it will always be a battle for him not to fall back in to his drug-fueled ways, he is hopeful for the future. Nick has realized that he has a lot of living left to do."
