One of the most awaited films is set to hit the big screen next year. Director Justin Kurzel will be directing the "Assassin's Creed" movie which is distributed by Fox, New Regency, and UbiSoft Motion Pictures. As per Euro Gamer, "Assassin's Creed" film is getting the fans psyched as the all-star cast was revealed. Though its released was delayed for years, the film finally started shooting last month.
Marion Cotillard from the "Dark Night Rises" and Michael Kenneth Williams are part of the cast of the movie adaptation. Williams as Callum Lynch's 12-year slave.
"Assassin's Creed" synopsis revolves around Callum Lynch who is portrayed by Michael Fassbender from the "X-men." Lynch was able to unlock genetic memories which allowed him to revive the adventures of his ancestor Aguilar [still portrayed by Fassbender] in Spain, during the 15th century. He then discovered that he is a descendant of a secret Assassin society. He then gained knowledge and skills as he takes in the Knights Templar in the present. [Wikia]
"Assassin's Creed" casting may look full but Deadline exclusively reported that two A-List actors will be joining the film.
Jeremy Irons and Brendan Gleeson have just been casted for "Assassin's Creed." Irons will be playing the role of Cotillard's father while Gleasson on the other hand will be playing Fassbender's father.
The popular video game series have sold more than 91 million units. The newly casted actor Jeremy Irons has won numerous prestigious awards such as the Emmy, Tony, Sag, Golden Globe, and Oscars for Reversal of Fortune. He also has numerous upcoming films such as "The Man Who Knew Infinity," "Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice," and "The Correspondence" which is directed by Giuseppe Tornatore.
Iron and Gleasson have worked on "Trespas Among Us." Gleasson himself will also be starring on upcoming films such as "Suffragette" which would hit the big screen on October 23 and a Ron Howard film "In The Heart of The Sea" which would open on December 11.
