The new promo video released for "Supernatural" Season 11 shows that the Winchester Brothers Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) will have a lot on their hands as they fight the baddies in the new season.
It was earlier reported that a new big bad will be coming to the season now that The Darkness is coming to cause trouble. According to reports, Darkness is an old pre-biblical evil force which was previously defeated by God, and since then it has been locked inside a human body which possesses the mark of Cain. In the Season 10 finale, after Rowena (Ruth Connell) removed the mark from Dean's arm, the Darkness was unleashed on Earth.
According to Design & Trend, the premiere episode of Season 11 is titled "Out Of The Darkness, Into The Fire." A source of the site revealed that in the first episode of the season, Sam and Dean will be personally facing the consequences of their past actions; however, it can be seen that the Darkness is not an easy enemy to beat.
It was also earlier reported that to be able to beat the big bad in Season 11, the brothers will have to make "unholy alliances" with some people in their past. According to the site, actress Emily Swallow was cast as the character named Amara, and it is believed that she will be the manifestation of the Darkness.
In another sneak peek video for Season 11, Dean and Sam can be seen investigating supernatural deaths in a town. The brothers can be seen in an accident site where a dead person seems to have black veins on the neck.
It was revealed that Sam unfortunately contracted the black veins. Does this mean one of them would die in the upcoming season? According to Geek Snack, in one of the trailers for Season 11, one of the characters can be heard saying, "I know you are dying, I can feel it."
"Supernatural" Season 11 will premiere on October 7.
