'Homeland' Season 5 Episode 2 Spoilers: Carrie Accompanies Her Boss To Lebanon But Things Won't Go Well

Everything seems to be going well for Carrie (Claire Danes) in the Season 5 premiere of "Homeland," but it reportedly won't last long.

According to International Business Times, in episode 2, Carrie will be accompanying her new boss, Otto During (Sebastian Koch), to Lebanon to lend a hand in the refugee crisis.

According to the recap by The New York Times Blog, Carrie can be seen looking good as ever in the premiere episode of Season 5. Viewers have seen Carrie live a new life with her daughter, her new job and new love life as well. She is now running a security firm for a German foundation stationed in Berlin, and she seems to be living her life happily as she is seen sending her little girl to school and meeting her new boyfriend from work.

However, trouble will reportedly start brewing for Carrie because her trip with her boss will not turn out well. In the promotional video for the next episode, Carrie can be seen saying, "The situation on the ground is unpredictable, to say the least," telling her boss the situation. She then tells him that they have limited time to spend in the place, which is just an hour.

After her boss announces that he will be donating $10 million to the Lebanese refugees, an altercation then happens. Carrie stars to yell after seeing a suspected threat, and then an explosion takes place.

It was reported that this incident does not mark the end of Carrie's problems because another video shows Carrie being accused of joining forces with her boss to get intel, and it was speculated that Carrie's job was only used as a front. Obviously, Carrie denies all the accusations.Fans can see what happens next in the upcoming episode of the show.

"Homeland" Season 5 episode 2, titled "The Tradition of Hospitality," will air on Showtime on Sunday.
