"Dancing With The Stars" pro-dancer Witney Carson is getting married to her high school sweetheart Carson McAllister. PEOPLE reported that last Saturday Carson proudly announced her engagement on her Instagram page.
She posted a beach photo and wrote, "My love of four years @carson.mcallister proposed last night & I feel like the luckiest, happiest woman in the world. It was perfect, he's perfect #engaged."
Carson also shared to PEOPLE how the proposal was made. She said, "My high school sweetheart popped the question last night in the most perfect, beautiful way. He was waiting for me on the beach surrounded by candles. Danced with me while the sun went down and then knelt down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Of course I said yes."
According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Carson’s “Dancing With The Stars” fans as well as her other co-stars gave her well wishes for her engagement.
Another DWTS pro Emma Slater tweeted, “Congratulations to my babe @witneycarson and her love @carson.mcallister on their engagement! I couldn’t be happier for you two. Eeeeek!!!” While Alison Holker shared a photo of her and Carson as she congratulated her on her engagement.
Wetpaint revealed that Witney and Carson met in Utah. They dated for three years when they were in high school. Eventually, Carson went to study in Southern Utah University while Witney pursued her dancing career and move to Los Angeles where she first competed in “So You Think You Can Dance” before she joined “Dancing With The Stars.”
After Carson fulfilled his Mormon mission overseas, he returned home last May, around the time that DWTS Season 20 ended. Since Carson has returned, Witney took a break from her dancing career and then the two are inseparable already.
Witney did not yet share a wedding date and definite wedding plans as of the moment, as reported by the Inquisitr.
