'Regression' Release Date, News: Director Alejandro Amenabar Did 'Sex Abuse Film' Tastefully, Emma Watson Says

Emma Watson is making a name of her own, and she'll be starring on a new film titled "Regression" which would premiere on October 14, 2015. As per The Hollywood Reporter, the film directed by Alejandro Amenabar is a psychological thriller that was able to bring in $2.87 million over the weekend.

The story revolved around the traumatized teen that was a victim of sexual abuse and the detective who uncovered the evidence of a satanic cult while looking into the case.

One of the main stars Emma Watson dished out details on what it's like to work with the film's director Alejandro Amenabar. During her interview with BBC, she shared that the director did a remarkable job and is "incredibly tasteful."

"I never would have done a movie like this without knowing I was doing it with a director who was incredibly tasteful, which is Alejandro. Under any other circumstance, I wouldn't really go there. He's just so good. It is really dark and it's one of those awesome films where you think you know what it's going to be and then it's something completely different, which I think is pretty awesome." "Getting a film put together right, to me, feels like a lunar eclipse. It's this perfect miracle of all of these happenings happening at the same moment. So the right director with the right cast with enough money to get it made properly. All these disparate elements have to arrive at the same perfect moment. Sometimes it happens, and sometimes it doesn't. It always feels a little bit iffy I guess."

Emma then shared some insights regarding her co-star Ethan Hawk, stating that they both have a lot in common.

"He's just such a joy to be around. Every day he would come into the make-up trailer playing a different instrument. Sometimes he'd rock up with a trumpet, sometimes he'd rock up with a guitar, sometimes he'd be singing. He'd always be reading something interesting. He was just really nice to be around. He was also a child actor, so it was nice. I got to talk to him a lot about what that's like."
