"Criminal Minds" episode two of season 11 finds the BAU responding to a call for help from the police after a bus in LA is hit by a deadly sarin gas attack. They must find the people behind the terror strike before they can unleash an even bigger attack.
Touted as one of the most action packed episodes for season 11, the BAU will definitely have their work cut out for them as they are called in to help profile and locate the suspect responsible for a gas attack on a bus in Los Angeles, in the episode called "The Witness." According to Design and Trend, Garcia will brief the team about an incident that has left 10 people dead. Apparently, it was caused by sarin gas which sent the team to the site to investigate. They find a device that is said to be used for releasing gas and Reid has determined that it is timer activated. The team waits for a group or someone to claim responsibility for the attack but to no avail.
In the same preview, the BAU scrambles to find the individual responsible for the attack as the method used makes them believe there will be another much bigger attack in Los Angeles. Garcia then tips Hotch and the team about a security footage showing a man with a bag that enters the building which they suspect contains poison gas. Hotch orders the entire building placed under lockdown.
"Criminal Minds" episode two of season 11 will feature two guest actors from other hit TV series. "NCIS" actress Marisol Nichols will play LA FBI agent Natalia Colfax while Tim Kang of "The Mentalist" will play Charlie Senerak, a medical supply worker.
In a report by Christian Post, the BAU will miss agents Kate and JJ as both are on maternity leave. Hotch is interviewing applicants for the vacancy in the team.
