In a report by Anime News Network, the second season of the anime Haikyuu!! will premiere in Japan on Saturday and will be streamed in Crunchyroll in the following regions: United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Scandinavia, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Turkey, and Latin America.

The anime revolves around the wacky first year duo Hinata and Kageyama. The tandem first met during a volleyball match in their middle school year where they faced each other at the different sides of the court. Kageyama utterly defeated the team of Hinata, who mostly consist of a couple of beginners and fill-ins. With his tragic loss, Hinata vowed that he will never again be defeated by Kageyama. But due to some circumstances, the two of them ended up being in the same side of the court representing Karasuno High School, dubbed as the fallen powerhouse. The tandem will need to work hand-in-hand with their other team mates to make the fallen raven fly once again.

The new season of the anime will start-off where the first season ended. The first season ended with the defeat of the Karasuno Volleyball team to Aoba Johsai. Because of their defeat, the first episode of the new season will feature the Karasuno High School Club standing on their feet and continuing to move on to become stronger.
