The Grammy and Oscar winning songstress, Adele, is reportedly renting a plush mansion in Beverly Hills. The singer has been renting the place since late 2012 as her beach-front home in Brighton, Great Britain is under renovation.
Curbed broke the news of the alleged rental. Despite being a superstar, Adele has surprisingly managed to cover her real estate tracks.
According to the Zillow blog, Adele leased the famed Lock House in Sussex County, which is a large mansion sitting on a 25 acre lot. The place was too huge for the singer and that is when she decided to move to Beverly Hills.
However, the Beverly Hills home that Adele is renting is still on the market for sale! The home was first listed for $25.5 million in November 2012. Maybe because Adele is still renting the place, the home hasn't found a buyer.
The Beverly Hills estate was originally designed for actor, Bert Lahr, which was later occupied by a line of affluent people like Paul McCartney, Melanie Griffith and Betty Gable. The home is a classic residence with five bedrooms and ten bathrooms. In addition to the bed-bath count, the place also has three powder rooms and two staff quarters.
Large living spaces include a formal living room, a dining area and a family room. The home also has a media room, a wet bar, a large wine cellar and a two-lane bowling alley. Outside, the home has large landscaped gardens with a koi pond. A pool, a spa and a tennis court are some of its other elaborate features. The home also has a separate guest house and a two car parking garage.

Just before the Oscars, word was out that she was considering a residency in the sin city, Las Vegas. Apparently, she was considering signing a short-period stay at a hotel in Las Vegas to enhance her vocal skills and deal with her incessant stage fright. Anyhow, after having a baby, she has become more careful about moving.
Adele and her boyfriend, Simon Konecki, are planning a private wedding. They are also looking to buy a property in the Hollywood Hills area to raise their son, Angelo, reports Zillow.
