The promotional video of the revival installment of the science-fiction series "The X-Files,'' has been released and the fans may be delighted to see some exciting things in it.
During the airing of "Gotham'' and "Minority Report,'' the clip that was unveiled by Fox featured the iconic lead characters, Fox Mulder and Dany Scully, which is to be played once again by David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson. Fox looks battered and tired while Dana seems to be in a good situation.
Among the actors who are confirmed not to reprise his role in the series is Jerry Hardin, who portrayed previously the character, Deep Throat.
According to Vine Report, Hardin was asked if he will appear on the show, and he said: "I've seen in various write ups that I'm part of it. But Chris Carter hasn't told me I'm part of it. I'm curious to know who is and who isn't [involved]. I know of some other actors who had some nice roles, and they aren't involved either, so we're all curious to see what's going to be there."
It was reported on Oct. 6 that there will be advanced screening during the 2015 MIPCOM event in Cannes, along with a special presentation in the New York event on Oct. 10 at the Javits Centre Main Stage, where there will be a question and answer panel.
The "X-Files'' Revival is slated to be premiered on Jan. 24, 2016 at 10 p.m., following the NFC Championships Game, and will air for a limited six-episode run.
Screen Rant said Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) will be returning to the small screen of Fox's "X-Files'' Revival series, after the show's original run on the network ended some fourteen years ago.
Showrunner Chris Carter is back as X-Files creator for the six-episode revival, which will encompass a combination of "stand-alone investigative episodes and those that further the original show's seminal mythology.''
