In the new season of "Baby Daddy," as Ben (Jean-Luc Bilodeau) has decided to let go of Riley (Chelsea Kane), he is expected to have a new love interest in the show.
In the Season 4 finale, the love triangle between Ben, Riley and Danny (Derek Theler) came to an end when Ben finally let go of Riley and allowed her to be with Danny. Rumors are now circulating that Ben won't be sad for long as he will be having a new relationship with a new girl coming to town.
According to Crossmap, there have been reports that actress Allie Gonino will be joining the show as a recurring cast member. It was reported that Gonino will be playing the character of Sam, who will be applying as the manager of Danny and Ben's bar. It turns out that Sam was Ben's high school crush, so it is to be expected that Ben will have that nostalgia feeling upon meeting her.
Unfortunately, not everyone is happy with the arrival of the new girl. According to Yibada, Sam, Danny, Ben, and Riley all attended the same high school and it was revealed that Sam used to bully Riley while they were teenagers.It could be expected therefore that Sam and Riley won't be getting along in Season 5.
There are also speculations that Ben would be taking into account Riley's feelings when it comes to Sam; however, some would think that it would be unfair, considering Riley chose Danny over him. It was speculated that if ever Ben would be in a relationship with Sam, it may not last long.
Meanwhile, series creator Dan Berendsen explained in a recent interview why they decided to let Riley choose Danny over Ben. He said that they wanted to explore Danny and Riley's relationship more instead of doing the same stories that they have done with Riley and Ben.
As of writing, there is still no definite date for Season 5 of "Baby Daddy," but it is expected to air on ABC Family sometime next year.
