Just last Monday, "Castle", a TV series from ABC introduced a new character "Lucy," a talking operating system that aided Rick in his time of need. She was introduced by TV Line as a know it all, who helped Rick [who is portrayed by Nathan Fillion] move on with his life without Kate. The feisty lady then blatantly told him that it "Sucks to be you, Rick" and she would also give him a reality slap every now and then.
Lucy who is portrayed by Aubrey Plaza revealed that her voice was casted for "Castle" season 8. She tweeted the information directly at Fillion stating:

As per Spoiler TV's latest report, "Castle" season 8 episode 4 would be entitled 'What Lies Beneath'. It would revolve around the case to solve the author's death and find out who the murderer is.
International Business Times that made a detailed "Castle" recap for those fans who miss the last episode for season 8 which aired last Monday on ABC.
"Castle" season 8 episode 3 showed a new murder emerged giving Castle a new task as he went undercover as a professor from a university where the body of Peter was found. The college student [Peter] was a fraternity member who was brutally murdered while wearing a prison jump suit.
Castle and Beckette [portrayed by Stana Katic] dig deeper into the investigation and Castle's disguise helped them find new leads in which they were able to uncover dark secrets bestowed upon the school. In the latter part of the investigation, the duo discovered that the school's Dean was involved in a BDSM relationship with Peter, which explains the jumpsuit.
Moving forward, the duo got their selves locked up in a make shift fake prison cell in which they tried to figure out on who let Peter out and eventually killed him.
