Celebrity Homes 2015: Most Expensive Houses by Famous Personalities

Hollywood celebrities who earn thousands to millions of dollars per movie or episode of a show obviously have enough to shell out for a luxurious home. Celebrity homes are known to feature lavish facilities, and here we look at the 2015 most expensive houses owned by celebrities.

According to Insider Monkey, as of May 2015, TV producer Aaron Spelling, had the most expensive home. The producer's home reportedly cost a whopping $150 million and measures 56,500 square feet. The massive "paradise-like" mansion houses numerous amenities such as a skating rink, bowling alley, gymnasium, orchard, four garages and more.

Next on Insider Monkey's list is Bill Gate's 66,000-square-foot home, which reportedly cost $147.5 million. The tech billionaire is said to feature high-tech and high-end facilities, which include an artificial stream with live fishes, trampoline room, a library worth $30 million and more.

Tiger Woods is third on the publication's list with his $100 million home in Jupiter Island, Florida. The golf superstar's property obviously features a golf course, along with other sports facilities such as a running track, lap and diving pools, tennis and basketball courts and more.

Meanwhile, Telegraph Today also came up with a list of the most expensive celebrity homes, and first in its feature is Ozzy Osbourne's house. The 1970s rock star's Hidden Valley, California home measures 10,600 square feet and reportedly cost $10 million, which is considered a small amount compared with the previously mentioned celebrity homes.

Next on Telegraph Today's list is Will Smith's house, which reportedly cost $20 million. The actor's house in Calabasas beautifully stands out with its combination of Moroccan, Spanish and Persian architecture and design. The property also features outstanding amenities such as a home theater, swimming pool and more.

Other celebrity homes included in both sites' lists are owned by former talk show host Oprah Winfrey, golf star Greg Norman, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Christie Brinkley and more.
