Real Estate Celebrity News: Beyoncé And Jay Z Rent a Manor in Holmby Hills Neighborhood for $150k a Month

Beyoncé and Jay Z are getting a new place to stay since the Holmby Hills mansion that they are curretly renting has been sold already. But then couple still found a place in the Holmby Hills neighborhood which will cost them a monthly rent of $150,000.

NY Daily News reports that the celebrity royalty couple and music icons are now renting a very huge mansion in Holmby Hills, west L.A. The $45 million manor is previously owned by Former Los Angeles Dodgers owner Frank McCourt. McCourt bought the property in 2004, but has it listed in the market last year.

LA Curbed reveals that the McCourts property was bought for $21.25 million, and then the couple "spent another $14 million on shipping in the entire kitchen from their Massachusetts home." However, when Franck and Jamie divorced, Jamie McCourt got the property and decided to sell the real estate since she thought she's not keen in keeping it. The manor is in the market for several years but she couldn't get a buyer, until she decided to slash "$20 million off the asking price."

The new owner whose name is undisclosed is a British billionaire. At the moment, he has no plans of residing in this luxury home, and has decided to rent it out. The dynamic music icon couple has signed a one-year contract to rent the property.

Report says that the property has an area of 20,000 square feet. One of its amenities is the luxurious indoor Olympic-sized pool, although it also has a scenic outdoor swimming pole, which has a flowing waterfall and ornate formal gardens. It also has its own spa and steam room.

Daily Mail UK says that manor has a living area that brags its great floor to wall windows, white marble floors, and it also boasts a gourmet kitchen.

Jay Z and Beyonce, who owns a property in in Tribeca, New York decide to relocate in California permanently this year. The couple believes that L.A is a great place to raise their daughter 3-year old Blue Ivy.

It has also been reported that the couple wanted to buy the a property in Beverly Hills but they were outbid last December by Markus Persson, the new owner of the $70 million Beverly Hills home.

$150,000 rent may sound a huge amount but Jay Z and Beyonce would not have an issue on the cost, because "they have a combined fortune estimated at $1 billion, according to the Celebrity Net Worth website," NY Daily says.
