'Fifty Shades Darker' Movie Spoilers & Release Date: Filming Of Sequel To Be Delayed Again Due To Contract & Casting Director Issues?

The filming of "Fifty Shades Darker" may be pushed back a couple of months due to some issues regarding the lead stars' contracts and the film's casting director.

In a previous interview with E! News, producer Dana Brunetti confirmed that they have not yet hired a casting director for "Fifty Shades Darker." At that time, the exec also denied rumors that the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" star Henry Cavill will play Jack Hyde in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel.

"We're nowhere near casting. We don't even have a casting director in on it yet," he said.

This has led fans to worry that if the film still hasn't found its casting director, there's no chance that the production could start on time. "Fifty Shades Darker" is supposed to introduce a slew of new characters, and no actors or actresses have been tapped to play the parts yet. The film will feature Jack Hyde, John Flynn, Mrs. Robinson and Leila Williams.

According to Design & Trend, Jack Hyde will serve as Christian Grey's (Jamie Dornan) nemesis. The two characters grew up in the same adoption home, but Jack has always been jealous of Christian because he was adopted first.

Mrs. Robinson, on the other hand, is the woman responsible for introducing Christian to the world of BDSM. In "Fifty Shades Darker," she will pose a threat not only to Christian but also to his girlfriend Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson).

Leila Williams is another character that fans are waiting to see in the big screen. Leila was Christian's submissive, and now that she's back, she will also cause tension between Christian and Anastasia.

It is still unclear whether or not the "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel will feature Christian's psychiatrist, John.

"Fifty Shades Darker" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Feb. 10, 2017.
