The "Hot n Cold" singer, Katy Perry,has officially listed her Hollywood Hills home on the Multiple Listing Service for $6.9 million.
Just a month ago, news of Perry listing her home was doing the rounds. It was speculated that she would probably list the home for something around $7 to $6.5 million. It seems the rumors were right on the price point.
Perry has been looking for a buyer privately since the last couple of months with an asking price of $8 million. The home has finally appeared on the listing market with a discounted price.
Perry had purchased the place with her ex-husband actor Russell Brand in 2011. Brand had transferred ownership of the home to Perry when they ended their 14-month marriage.
According to the listing records, the home is a spacious 8855 square feet residence comprising of seven bedrooms and seven full and four half bathrooms. The three-story home has dark stained hardwood flooring, beamed wooden ceilings and large Palladian windows.
Living spaces include a large living room, a paneled dining room, a library, a gallery and a media lounge. The kitchen is a gourmet culinary place with modern fittings and fixtures. The place also has a breakfast area, a snack counter and a mid-rise island.
Outside, the home has a double story detached structure that has a three car garage upstairs and a maids quarters and a studio on the lower level. Another detached guest house and a swimming pool also exist on the property.

The public listing comes just weeks after Perry broke up with boyfriend John Mayer. The relationship was pretty serious with the couple planning to tie the knot. They were also looking to buy a home in Los Angeles.
However, now that the two have called it quits, Perry is recovering from the heartbreak by turning to ex-husband Brand.
According to Radar Online, Perry has been texting Brand for advice on her split.
"Katy reached out to him after she split with John, bemoaning her luck with men, and Russell provided her with some much-needed reassurance. He flattered her with compliments and just listened to her every word. Russell also used his wit to cheer Katy up," a source told Radar Online.
