Game developer Atlus has released new details for its upcoming video game "Persona 5." The company has revealed a new batch of "Persona 5" characters which are all "Persona" protagonists, namely: Captain Kidd, Carmen, Zorro, and Goemon. Aside from the aforementioned characters, there's also new information about the "Persona" character of Yusuke Kitagawa, Design & Trend reported on Thursday.
According to the report, the information about the new "Persona 5" characters was first spotted on the Japanese website of the game, which was translated by Gematsu.
"As far as the character descriptions are concerned, they mostly align with our previous detailing posted late last month. However there is a bit of clarification with regard to the game's cat-like fighter named Morgana. Apparently, the protagonist and his friend Ryuji Sakamoto meet her in 'the palace of a different world.' After that, she lives and sleeps alongside the main character. She also tends to use vulgar language, and her catchphrase is 'don't call me a cat,'" the report said.
It can be recalled that Atlus has shared some background information on the game's four main characters last September. These four characters reportedly belong to a group called the "Phantom Thieves."
VG247 has enumerated the bios of the upcoming "Persona 5" protagonists, which are as follows.
- "Arsene: This is the protagonist's Persona which wears a mask and has large black wings on his back.
- Captain Kidd: This is Ryuji Sakamoto's primary Persona which sports a cannon prosthetic arm.
- Carmen: Ann Takamaki's Persona is decked out in a flamenco dress and she uses a rose whip.
- Zorro: Morgana the black cat's primary takes on the Persona of the famous swordsman.
- Goemon: is the main Persona of Yusuke Kitagawa. He carries a long pipe and he's modeled after a legendary master thief."
"Yuskue's main bio has also been revealed: he's an art program scholarship student who is considered a 'handsome young man' with an other-worldly presence. An orphan after his mother passed away, he came to live with his Japanese painter landlord Madarame," the report said.
"Persona 5" is slated to be released in summer 2016 for PlayStation 3 and PS4.
