Justin Bieber 2015: 'What Do You Mean' Singer Admits Selena Gomez is The Best Thing That Happened To Him

Justin Bieber made a comeback in 2015 after a brief hiatus in his career. Since then, his relationship with his former girlfriend, Selena Gomez, has always been the subject every time he has an interview. In the past, the two had been good at throwing shade at each other, but in Bieber's most recent interview, he said that he treasures the times he had with her.

In an interview with New Zealand radio show Mai Morning Crew, Bieber confessed how he valued the times he spent with Gomez, Hollywood Life reports. When the host asked the "What Do You Mean" singer what the best part of his teenage years was, he cited his previous relationship with Selena with no second thoughts.

"I would say, the best part of the teenage years," Bieber initially said. The host then asked, "Earning a Ferrari?" The 21-year-old replied,"No, not that, probably my relationship with my ex-girlfriend. I'm not gonna talk about it, but I'm just gonna say that and we'll leave it there."

Bieber had dished details on how his relationship with SelGo affected his dating life in an interview with Complex magazine for its October/ Novemeber cover. He claimed that he got "scarred" in his past romance. He also talked about how deep he was involved with Gomez that time.

"I moved in with my girlfriend when I was 18. Started my own life with her. It was a marriage kind of thing. Living with a girl, it was just too much at that age. But we were so in love. Nothing else mattered," Bieber said.

Bieber and Gomez made their relationship official in 2011. They parted ways for the first time in 2012 then got back together again in 2013. The on-again, off-again pair broke up again in 2014 when he was arrested for DUI. Last year, they dated several times until finally ending their roller coaster romance. In early 2015, they sparked dating rumors again when they tried to reunite in one occasion, but things fizzled out swiftly.
