Apple's Beats is back with a plus. Apple, who took over 'Beats by Dr. Dre' June last year, showcased yesterday their new wireless Bluetooth speaker, the Beats Pill+. The success of the first Beats Pill which was launched three years ago will soon be challenged by a sleeker and larger wireless speaker, Beats Pill+.
Apple observed that most of its users do not only utilize the previous Beats Pill as a portable speaker, but most consumers use them as their primary listening device. And to somehow augment the acoustic experience of its users, Apple decided to make Beats Pill a bit larger, thus allowing a fuller and more optimized sound experience beyond any music genre.
The '+' sign on the new Beats Pill does not only refer to its size, for Apple made some improvements under the hood as well. The new Beats Pill+ comes with modified speakers that would enhance audio output. Other features also include:
Sound Quality
Because of a strategic positioning of the tweeters and woofers, Beats Pill+ is expected to give clearer sound for all music genres. Like what is being done in professional recording studios, this new bluetooth wireless speaker comes with an enhanced acoustic mechanism.
Battery Life
According to mashable, the new Beats speaker guarantees "12-hour battery life and would take three hours to be fully charged," not bad for a primary listening device. And since Apple now owns Beats, it's no surprise that Lightning cable are used for charging.
App tricks
You may also do some tricks with this new Beats Pill+ from Apple. According to mashable, through an app you can "pair two Beats Pill+ speakers together - either to amplify the existing sound or to work in stereo mode for dedicated right and left speaker playback." And when 'DJ The Playlist Mode', which found in the app, is turned on users can now control what is getting played from the speaker.
Now with all the changes and upsizing done with Beats Pill+, you better prepare yourself and your ears for some mellifluous experience. And such Beats Pill+ experience would be available for $229.99 from Apple.com and authorized Beats retailers next month.
