‘Star Wars: Episode 7' Spoilers & Plot Rumors: 3 Plot Lines For Upcoming Sequel

"Star Wars: Episode 7" wouldn't be released until later this year, but fans already know some important details from the upcoming sequel.

According to Design & Trend, there are at least three possible plot lines that will be included in the film's seventh installment.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, director J.J. Abrams said that the concept of family is very important to the franchise.

"What was incredible about 'Star Wars' among other things, was that in that first movie Vader could've been his father, but he wasn't, you know. Leia could've been his sister, but she wasn't. You didn't really know what the Empire was up to exactly," he said.

Abrams added, "You didn't really understand what it meant that there was a Senate or the Dark Times or any of the references, and yet you felt the presence of all these things and you understood because it was all being referenced in a way that allowed you to fill in the blanks, and that's a very powerful thing."

Meanwhile, "Star Wars: Episode 7 The Force Awakens" will also provide fans with a fresh take on the "Nazi" overtones of the Galactic Empire. Lastly, the film will also include a slew of impressive special effects that will make the film even more exciting to watch among fans.

"Ironically, the first shot in this practical effects movie is CGI. The lightsaber tumbling to the ground towards the savanna is entirely CGI. The second shot that is completely CGI is Kylo Ren's ship heading for the Star Destroyer after falling to get the saber on Jakku."

"Star Wars: Episode 7" will have more than 300 scenes that are not entirely CGI. This means that only 28 scenes from the sequel will have special effects.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Dec. 18.
