"Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 will celebrate a milestone in the upcoming weeks when it finally airs it 250th episode. Since not all successful shows reach the 250th-episode mark, the creators and producers of "Grey's Anatomy" are promising fans some exciting storylines for their favorite characters.
Design & Trend revealed that Jessica Capshaw's Arizona and Kevin McKidd's Owen Hunt will have some interesting storylines when the 250th episode premieres in three more weeks.
In an interview with TV Line, Capshaw talked about her character's fate and what her relationship will be like with her new roommate Andrew DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti). During the time of her interview, Capshaw revealed that she hasn't filmed any episodes with Gianniotti yet while they are in their apartment. However, she said that she knows for a fact that their partnership will be hysterical.
The actress also urged fans to wait for Arizona's growth and transformation in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12.
"It's been Arizona doubling down on herself and trying to have a lighter, brighter, happier, sweeter, funnier attitude. I feel like she's back to being who she was in the beginning, but with all the knowledge she's accrued," she said.
Meanwhile, McKidd also spoke with the publication about Owen's storyline in the upcoming episode. According to the actor, someone from Owen's past will return to his life on "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12.
When asked whether this character will be played by Martin Henderson, McKidd said that he can't divulge any other information.
"Somebody comes along during the season from Owen's past... and he will ignite a lot of things in Owen and will cause real problems for him," he said.
When asked what exactly happened to Owen in the past, McKidd simply said, "I don't know."
"Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. The show's 250th episode will air on Oct. 22.
